Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ
Teaching at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ gives me the opportunity to combine my nursing educator career and my faith to prepare students for faith-integrated nursing will definitely be a highlight in my career. I feel fortunate in having the opportunity to be a part of a school that integrates faith in student centered learning and is committed to the ideals of God's Kingdom.
I was born and raised in Fresno California, but I have spent many years in Southern California, while pursing my nursing education and career - including twenty eight years of clinical nursing experience and ten years of academic teaching experience.
My husband Doug and I have two children, Sam age 24 and Hope age 30. Both are college graduates working in the business world.
Even though it is challenging to be a nurse and educator it has been a blessing to have a place like Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ and to have the students that we have here. To be able to have them listen to God's word and listen to that small voice: "Don't forget the patient, God's creation".
When I am not teaching and educating new nurses, I spend time with my family usually traveling to one of our many national parks. We love to spend time outside; hiking, skiing and seeing new places. I also have a great love of reading and exercise, such as yoga and aerobics.
